You know what they say about April showers… bring on the flowers!
Happy May, readers! We are so happy you found your way to the MME blog. We love May around here (and not just for the flowers). May serves as a time for celebration and new beginnings. Mother’s Day, graduations, engagements – there just isn’t enough room on the shelves for all the Hallmark cards this month. For us at MME, we are excited to be highlighting these special occasions as we head into a fun and busy summer wedding season. As we jump into this new month, we want to say a proper farewell to all that April 2024 brought to our business. We began the month with a beautiful wedding at The Isles Beach Club in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. This bride and groom were such a fun couple. How many weddings have you ever attended where they put the Final Four basketball game up on the big screen mid-reception? That was the vibe of this celebration, and the guests loved it. Though the Isles needs very little added décor in their already-immaculate space, the Briar Patch Florist made the tables come to life with their full floral arrangements and displays. The Notorious Clamslammers provided nonstop entertainment for the night, putting their own spin on classic wedding hits. From the food to the company, Laurel and Travis’ wedding was one we won’t soon forget, and we are so honored they chose us to help make their wedding dreams a reality.
We ended the month with a delightful celebration of Kelly and Eric. They had an intimate church ceremony with a fun party to follow at the Waccamaw Community Building. Applause Events & Décor transformed the space with modern and classy touches, including a stunning backdrop and floral displays. The food, made by the family, was the perfect touch to this personal gathering, and all the love was captured by Jess of Brittany Castillo Photography. We enjoyed our time getting to know Kelly, Eric, and their families, and we wish them the very best as they begin this new journey together in marriage.
