Ah, the week before your wedding. Such a wonderful but chaotic time! We want you to enjoy every moment, and that includes the time leading up to your wedding. The anticipation can sometimes make it a stressful week. We say…. let this be the week of pampering and relaxation! We have some insider wedding planner tips on what to do the during week of wedding chaos and how to nail your wedding rehearsal.
Beauty Regimen
It is especially important to stick to your regular beauty routine leading up to your wedding. About a week out, treat yourself to a relaxing facial and massage. Avoid any peels or drastic facial treatments as these could cause potentially cause irritation. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, washing your makeup off at night, and applying sunscreen when you leave the house!
Relax and Unwind
See above: facial and massage! This is the best way to give yourself some self-care during a time when you have a lot on your mind. A facial and massage duo will increase circulation which in turn leaves you feeling physically revived and leaves you glowing. Clear your mind by booking a couple hours at the spa. Trust us, you will be happy you did!
Budget Recap
With so many numbers spinning in your head, it’s a smart idea a week or two before the wedding to go through a budget checklist. Have a list ready of all your vendors, dates and amounts paid to them, and any remaining balance with a due date. Having this compiled list is visually easier to deal with and will get right to the point. Checking off that final payment will give you peace of mind and allow you to relax!
Assemble Gifts
The best way to get excited about the day finally arriving is to put together all your wedding party gifts! Make a list of what is going into each gift and cross names off as you go. Taking a few moments to write down personalized notes is always a heartfelt way to thank your friends and family for all their love and support.
