Planning a wedding requires a LOT of details! While you are working on all the big pieces, some of the smaller details that will really add that flawless touch to your wedding may get overlooked. Never fear! We have a list of the wedding details you don’t want to forget for your big day that your guests will love!
Up-lighting
We personally feel good up-lighting can add some serious mood to your wedding. What we love about it is it’s easy to set up, typically can be included with your DJ package, and you can choose any color to match your theme. Rather than overcrowding your space with physical décor, you can tuck these little lights right up to the wall for a warm glow. When spaced around your venue, there is a huge boost to blank walls and otherwise awkward corners. Some even change color!
The Completed Table Setting
The art of a good table setting has a couple of key components. First, decide what type of napkin you want to complement your décor. Choose what type of fold you want. This can be based on if it will be flat on the table or placed on a charger. Your caterer or venue will take care of the cutlery and glassware. Adding a guest favor on the table is the best way to make sure they take home the memento you are gifting them for your wedding-they can’t miss it! Add a finishing touch that ties everything together such as a sprig of rosemary, a menu, a thank you card, or any small décor item that ties in with your theme.
Personal Photos & Memories
It’s always a beautiful and personal touch when photos are incorporated into wedding décor. Your welcome table or guest book table is a perfect place to show off your wedding photos framed or printed on canvas. We encourage including a memory table at your wedding to give respect and a place in your day to those who are no longer with us. The best weddings involve displays of love.
Wedding Party Gifts
Don’t forget before the wedding even begins to give some special attention to your wedding party! Take a moment the morning of to give a thoughtful gift to your bridesmaids and groomsmen to show them how much you appreciate their support and love on your special day. A truly personal touch is to include a handwritten thank you card to them for being by your side. Make sure your photographer captures this exchange for a truly wonderful memory! Don’t feel overwhelmed by too many details when planning your wedding. Going through a wedding planning checklist can be beneficial to cross off a lot of these key points. If you are unsure, consult with your wedding planner on what else could make your wedding really shine and what details you want to be prepared for!
